As an NZIBI Registered Building Inspector (Membership Number NZIBI-087), I am fully insured to meet the NZS 4306:2005 standards. I am also a HomeFit (healthy homes standards for landlords) assessor and auditor.
My early career started in the trades including time spent as a joiner, and manager at a contracting company specialising in house piles, house sites and retaining walls. During my years as a building inspector, I’ve completed more than 1000 inspections, so have a wealth of experience in this area.
After running a building inspection franchise in Hawke’s Bay for a number of years, I’ve recently launched my own business Hawk Eye Building Inspections. Like the bird my business is named after, I have a keen eye for detail and am thorough in my processes, providing comprehensive yet easy-to-understand reports in a prompt manner.
It’s my aim to help families and investors make informed purchasing decisions by providing them with accurate information that highlights any potential risks.
